Mark Petros

Partner

Mr. Petros leads Arnovia’s Civil Aerospace and Energy practice, leveraging experience from over 200 diligence engagements supporting leading investors in Arnovia’s core sectors. Mr. Petros specializes in complex supply-chains and forecasts, ​with substantial experience across commercial aircraft suppliers, business aviation companies, and nuclear power providers. Prior to Co-founding Arnovia in 2021, he worked at CSP Associates, where he led over 150 diligence engagements, and helped upgrade CSP’s buy-side transaction practice.  Prior to CSP, Mr. Petros worked at Quabbin Capital, a Boston-based investment firm focused on private equity and alternative assets. Mr. Petros holds a B.S. in Economics from Amherst College.

Josh Heacock

Mr. Heacock heads the firm’s Defense and Government Services practice, providing transaction due diligence and M&A strategy for financial sponsors and strategic buyers. Prior to co-founding Arnovia, Mr. Heacock worked for CSP Associates, Inc., completing over 125 engagements as the firm’s lead Defense and Government Services analyst. Josh started his private sector career with HSBC Global Markets and Banking in New York. Previously, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, leading maintenance operations for the B-2 “Spirit” Stealth Bomber. Mr. Heacock holds an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and graduated with Academic Distinction from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Joe Blunda

Managing Director

Mr. Blunda leads Arnovia's growing Space and Strategy practices, leveraging over 2 decades of direct industry consulting and entrepreneurial pursuits both within Aerospace & Defense and beyond. Mr. Blunda leads engagements across Arnovia's markets, having supported over 150 projects during his career.  Prior to Arnovia, Mr. Blunda spent several years as a due diligence and strategy consultant alongside Mr. Petros and Mr. Heacock at CSP Associates for leading private equity and industry clients. Mr. Blunda holds degrees in English and Government from Bowdoin College and International Business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

Joey Cresta

Director of Research

Mr. Cresta is Arnovia's Director of Research, a role that cuts across all engagements and directly supports project teams by providing timely and relevant data to support their analysis. He advises Arnovia's engagement managers on research sources, helps to identify and analyze data, and manages vendor relationships to ensure Arnovia's access to the premier data sources relevant to its markets. Prior to Arnovia, he was the Director of Research at CSP Associates. Previously, he worked in competitive intelligence at Technology Business Research, Inc., focused on analysis of leading prime federal government IT and professional services contractors. He received his B.A. with majors in English and Anthropology from Bowdoin College and spent five years as a newspaper investigative reporter.​

Gabe Surratt

Mr. Surratt has supported over 50 diligence and strategy advisory engagements in the defense and government services sectors. Previously, Gabe worked as a policy aide on national security legislation for U.S. Congress, as a software engineer on advanced prototypes at Northrop Grumman and as a military officer with multiple deployments to the Middle East. He has earned graduate degrees from both the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Del Rosario has supported over 75 transactions in Arnovia’s core markets, with specialties across defense electronics, space and government services. He holds experience in investment banking at KippsDeSanto & Co.; investment management at Affiliated Managers Group (NYSE: AMG); management consulting at CSP Associates; and corporate development, financial planning & analysis (“FP&A”), and manufacturing operations at Cobham. Mr. Del Rosario holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School and a BA with Distinction in All Subjects from Cornell University.

Raymond Wong 

Senior Associate

Mr. Wong supports Arnovia’s clients with a focus on the commercial aerospace and business aviation sectors, utilizing over a decade of aviation related experience. Previously, Ray was a Senior Associate in Evercore's transportation M&A investment banking practice where he executed transactions for the airline, logistics, and aircraft leasing sectors. Prior to investment banking, he spent 9 years in equity research as a Vice President at Evercore ISI (and previously with UBS), with a focus on the aerospace, defense, airline, air cargo, and aircraft leasing sub-sectors. He began his career in the revenue management department of JetBlue Airways. Ray has a B.S. in Finance and Management and Organizations from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Jack Wojewuczki

Associate

Mr. Wojewuczki supports Arnovia’s diligence and strategy advisory engagements across aerospace, defense and energy sectors. Previously, he worked as an Associate Consultant for GE, where he provided workflow optimization solutions for clients. Mr. Wojewuczki is an active aircraft maintenance officer at Westover Air Force Base, overseeing daily maintenance for the C-5 Galaxy fleet.  Prior to GE, he worked in a strategy role at Microtech Welding Corp, providing organic and inorganic growth analysis to leadership, as well as supporting operational improvements across the company.  He earned a B.S. in Industrial & Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan and holds a Top Secret security clearance.

Mike Bernstein

Mr. Bernstein supports the Arnovia deal team across engagements related to the commercial aviation sector.  Mr. Bernstein brings over 38 years of experience working with General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, SAFRAN, MTU, Boeing, Airbus, and other stakeholders supporting the most critical aircraft and engine programs in the commercial market.  In his time with Airbus, Mr. Bernstein led the Flight Hour Services maintenance program for Singapore Airlines A330 and A380 fleets.  Prior to Airbus, Mr. Bernstein led the GP7200 engine services team under the GE & Pratt & Whitney Engine Alliance, as well as previous roles with GE leading the GE90 engineering and fleet strategy, GE-wide ‘On Wing Support’ efforts, CFM56 development and maintenance engineering and other critical roles.  Mr. Bernstein holds degrees for Aviation Maintenance and Aviation Technology (Avionics) from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as numerous aviation management certifications and licenses.

Mr. Fata is a Senior Advisor to Arnovia. He has nearly three decades of experience working at the highest levels in Washington, D.C. as a Congressional leadership staffer in both the House and the Senate, a senior Pentagon official responsible for Europe/Russia/NATO, as a VP at a global strategic consulting firm, and as an executive with Lockheed Martin. He is a seasoned strategist, analyst, and government affairs professional. He brings a wealth of knowledge, relations, and first-hand experience working in the public, private, and NGO sectors, both domestically and internationally. His expertise focuses on aerospace and defense, transatlantic security, supply chain, and emerging technologies.  He continues to write and lecture on key national security issues. Mr. Fata holds a B.A. with Honors from the University of Connecticut and a M.A. in International Relations from Boston University.

Madeline Valera

Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, Ms. Valera is responsible for all aspects of Arnovia’s administrative, human resources, finance and accounting, and IT efforts. She assists the Partners in the development and execution of the overall strategic plan for Arnovia and serves as the subject matter expert on all operational management and administrative-related issues. Prior to Joining Arnovia, Ms. Valera was the office manager for Simon-Kucher & Partners, a global strategy consulting firm, and held previous roles at Takeda, Eli Lilly, and the Joslin Diabetes Center.

Loyd Bramble

Mr. Bramble is an Associate at Arnovia, where he supports the company’s diligence and strategy advisory engagements in the aerospace, defense, and government (ADG) sectors.  Prior to joining Arnovia, Mr. Bramble spent 4 years in the ADG sector providing investment banking and transaction advisory services at Kipps Desanto, and Chertoff Capital in Virginia, and Washington D.C., respectively.  Prior to investment banking, Lloyd was a Business Analyst for Wells Fargo in their San Francisco office.  Mr. Bramble holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Virginia.
